ANNOUNCEMENT
EMEL Ltd, announces that, as part of the route restructuring for the Urban Area in order to upgrade the system for better service to our passengers, approval was finally achieved from the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works. Therefore the new modified routes will be operating from March 1st, 2016 .
Amongst other modifications, the main ones are:
- Routes starting from the eastern area of Limassol (No: 12, 13, 25) will now terminate at the Old Hospital Station on Leontiou Str. (instead of Lambros Porfira Str.) passing through Gladstone Street or Makarios Avenue.
- For better service to the traveling public of the areas Yermasoyia, Agios Athanasios, Mesa Geitonia, Perioxi Organismou Xrimatodotisis Stegis and Chrisovalantou Kapsalos traveling to the New Hospital, there will be a new direct route to the New Hospital.
- Passengers in the Western Area (Episkopi, Erimi, Kolossi and Ypsonas) will be better serviced for the New Hospital and MY MALL with route no. 18 starting from the bus stop St. George in Ypsonas.
- Some routes of routes Nos. 4, 5, 7, 14 and 15 both weekdays and weekends will terminate directly in the city center.
